We have got to know God's heart towards us, if we are truly ever to understand our own hearts.
Proverbs 4:23
Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that's where life starts. Don't talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust.
Declare today -
Help me above all else guard my heart and free my heart, help me to be vigilant, not to say one thing and do another, help me to remember that my heart is were my life starts.
Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you, straight ahead, avoiding every distraction and sideshow, watching my step and leaving evil in the dust.
May we truly understand your heart towards us this year, so we can fully understand our own hearts. Show us if we have a heart condition that needs attention.
